Fitur 2009
The event produced the best ever sector figures more than 221,000 visitors, of which 136,177 were trade professionals, were able to see the presentations of 11,576 exhibiting companies from 170 countries/regions, distributed over 87,549 net square meters.
The level of high-ranking professionals has been responsible for the outstanding success of FITUR. Among other data, the surveys carried out at the Trade Fair reveal that 42% of the trade participants had a high decision-making profile which underlines the importance of FITUR for the carrying out of commercial transactions, making new contacts, consolidating client relations or networking with new ones.

The growth of Fitur, combined with IFEMA's commitment to endow all of its fairs with the very best facilities and services, have enabled us to expand the fairground with two new modern halls. We will enjoy an additional 50,000 m2 of exhibition space. A new entrance area for Halls 12 and 14, including additional registration desks. A car-park with 2,400 spaces and direct access to the new East Gate. Walkways that connect directly with Halls 4 and 6 and ew meeting rooms.
